What the site displays
Delivery Volume presents delayed end-of-day information for stocks in the Nifty 500 universe. A stock page combines daily price candles with total traded quantity, delivery quantity, delivery percentage and exchange trade count when those fields are available in the source data.
Calculations
Delivery percentage is calculated as delivery quantity divided by total traded quantity, multiplied by 100. The interface stores and displays this value with limited decimal precision.
Calculated intraday quantity equals total traded quantity minus delivery quantity. It is a derived quantity used to compare the reported delivery portion with the remainder of traded quantity. It is not an exchange-provided count of intraday traders, positions or people.
Missing and unusual values
If delivery quantity is not present, Delivery Volume leaves delivery percentage and calculated intraday quantity unavailable. Missing values are never silently replaced with zero. Imported rows must contain valid price and total-quantity fields, and delivery quantity cannot exceed total traded quantity.
Corporate actions, symbol changes, changes in index membership, auction sessions and exchange corrections may affect comparisons across dates. The site does not currently adjust historical series for every corporate action.
Freshness
The service is designed for end-of-day research, not live trading. Each data page identifies the latest available trading date. Exchange holidays, weekends, source availability and processing failures can delay an update.
Interpretation
Delivery data is one observation, not a standalone trading signal. A high or low delivery percentage does not by itself establish accumulation, distribution, future price direction or the identity of market participants. Review price, liquidity, company disclosures and broader market context before drawing conclusions.
